During the boom years builders were in overdrive, it seemed for a while that there was a new project going up on every corner. When the crash came in September 2008 New Development projects were hurt badly.
As things began to work themselves out, lenders were fearful of investing in new construction and as a result the number of New Condos being built dimishished.
Today business is back to normal....almost...and buyers are flooding open houses and the on site offices of the few remaining New Buildings. As the number of buyers begins to exceed the number of available units the laws of supply and demand kick in and prices have begun to rise.
